About Me

I am a Level 7 Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) Assessor based in Haywards Heath with 9 years of experience working with children with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties, such as dyspraxia and dyscalculia, as well as ADHD and autism.

I previously worked as an occupational therapist at a specialist dyslexia school in London where, after developing a keen interest in specific learning difficulties, I trained as a specialist teacher and assessor. I witnessed first hand the effect that an undiagnosed learning difficulty can have on a learner's confidence and self-esteem. I view assessment as a wonderful tool that can help learners feel better understood, and reveal what is needed to make learning feel like a more positive experience again.
